Fact-Finding Committee constituted pertaining to firing incident at Sandang Senba Maring

Commissioner (RD & PR) Government of Manipur, Nidhi Kesarwani in a notification dated 30th March 2021, stated that a Fact-Finding Committee had been constituted vide order No. 2/4(1)2021- H (Enquiry) dated  29/03/2021 for submission of a report on the circumstances leading to the fire/firing incident which took place on March 29 at Sandang Senba Maring, Kangpokpi District. The notification also sought measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

The notification further states that for information of all concerned that any person who is desirous of submitting documents/ evidence on the circumstances leading to the incident, etc, may do so, office  Room No. 210, Secretariat (South Block), Imphal between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon an all working days on or before April 5.

Submission of such documents/evidence will be allowed, subject to observance of all applicable SoP norms issued in this regard in connection with Covid-19 pandemic and with the entry of persons on the said office restricted to not more than 5(five) persons at a time of such submission, she added.
