EYALU observes 17th foundation day

Enat Yokhat Apun Luplen (EYALU), culture preservation centre today observed its 17th foundation day “Meiteei Pandits Remembrance observation (Maichou Ningsing Thouram)” under the motto “Unity,Peace and Identity” through the culture were the gift of Integrity.
The observance was held at Gandhi Memorial hall, Imphal .
Chief Advisor of EYALU, Mangisana while delivering key note speech said that preserving and promoting our culture will be the only way to bring peace and harmony in today’s such unrest Manipuri society.
Focusing on the present tension between hill and valley, he said if we study and traced back to our origin, all the 39 recognized ethnic communities inhibiting in Manipur do have seven clans each. Once we realized the truth there will be no more hatred.
As part of the function, there distinguished culture promoters were honored. The distinguished were Mangisana, Chief Advisor EYALU, A Prakash and S Angou Meitei Luwangsanbam.
Winter accessories like Woolen blanket, water bag, charcoal heater, cane along with certificate and some monitory helps were handed over to old aged persons.
