Explosion rocks Jiribam District: Suspected IED Bomb blast at Durgapur Shop

An explosion rocked Durgapur village in the Borobekra Sub Division of Jiribam District early March 28 morning, as a suspected IED bomb planted by unknown miscreants detonated outside the shop owned by H. Manikumar Singh.
The incident, which occurred around 2:20 am local time, caused significant damage to the shop but thankfully resulted in no casualties. This isn’t the first time the shop has been targeted, as it was previously attacked by miscreants who fired shots at its shuttered windows.
Upon receiving the report, authorities from the Borobekra Police Station swiftly responded to the scene, launching an investigation into the incident and registering a case.
