A five member expert team comprising BL Vohara (IPS, Retd); AK Mago (IAS, Retd); BS Lamba (IAS, Retd); Kishalay Bhattacharjee, Journalist and Dr M Amarjeet Singh, Associate Professor, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi to arrive in the city on March, 1, 2015 to study and access the ground reality situation in Manipur.
The expert team will meet with Chief Minister, O Ibobi Singh; Chief Secretary, P C Lawmkunga; GOC, Leimakhong to discuss the prevailing law and order situation in the state. Besides they will interact with entrepreneurs, senior journalists, teachers, cultural groups, sports personalities, civil society leaders etc, according to a release by Rehanuddin Choudhury, Joint Secretary (Home), Government of Manipur.
