ESA felicitate medallists of national championships

Father and son who bagged gold and silver respectively in recently concluded national championships were Monday felicitated in a function organized by the Eastern Sporting Association (ESA), Top Awang Leikail, Imphal East at Ema Nongmairembi Lamlpak community hall.
Athokpam Bikramjit of Top Awang Leikai bagged gold medal in the recently concluded National Powerlifting 59 Kg Championship held at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand on January 2 and 3.
While his son, A Willjeckson bagged silver medal in 36 kg category of the All India National Level Inter-school Boxing Championship held from January 2 to 7 at New Delhi.
Willjeckson arrived in Imphal today morning and on his arrival he was felicitated along with his father in the function which was presided ESA president Dr Th Sukumar. Members of Top Dusara Gram Panchayat ward
no. 1 and 2, Th Surbala Devi and Th Purmina Devi attended the function as guest of honours.
Dignitaries and others who attended the felicitation functions extended monetary assistances while local elders blessed the father and son duo for their future success.
