EPH MD clarifies; says no question of misappropriating security money

Managing director of EPH – Thrift and Credit Co-operative Society, Chingtham Dhamendra today clarified that he had allegations leveled him by some of his staffs are baseless and is attempt to malign his reputation. In a press meet held today at Manipur Press Club today morning, Chingtham said that there is no question of freezing or misappropriating the security amount deposited by them.
Chingtham , the managing director of EPH Thrift and Credit Co-operative Society was charged of using unparliamentarily language to his employees beside refusing to return the security deposited amount by some of the staff. As according to him his office has a total of 160 staffs in 7 branches across the state. Of this 26 has stopped attending the office without giving any prior resignation letter, he added. He further said that of the 26 staffs, 16 had approach him to return the deposited amount but as there are rules and regulations to return the amount they were told to wait for some more days to complete the formalities, he added.
