Education Minister misleads house

Students of Bengali High School today said that the Education Minister M. Okendro has mislead the house of the ongoing assembly session by stating that the school at present has only around 30 students. Even as the government has ordered for abolition of the Bengali High School and Primary School, our reporter today saw several students attending the school today. However, the students had to sit disappointedly as there were no classes.
Speaking to this reporter, Gurumayum Chanchan, a student of class nine said that it is very unfortunate that the education minister did not even know the number of students of the school. She appealed the education Minister to stop working at table only.
The student further said that they will not accept any government proposal to move the students of the school to any school as the academic session has already cross midterm.
Now, the students had vow to attend the school whether there are classes or not and said that they wanted the government to see them attending the school.
