Economic blockade affects traffic on NHs

The five day long economic blockade imposed by the JAC against the killing of Khupneilal Neihsiel and Robert Hesei Kipgen at Kadangban largely affected vehicular movement on the two National Highways of the state.
On the second day of the blockade, a large number of goods laden trucks have been stranded at Kangpokpi area of National Highway 2 and many parts of Imphal Jiribam Route.
Meanwhile, the JAC and other bandth supporters announced that they are ready to intensify the blockade on Imphal Moreh Route as well.
