EC reviews poll-preparedness for assembly elections in Nagaland

Kohima, Feb 14: An Election Commission team, headed by its Chief OP Rawat, reached Kohima this morning to review the poll-preparedness in Nagaland. During the visit, the team will interact with the state government officials, representatives of political parties and top officials involved with law and order.
Later, the team will also visit Meghayala to take stock of the poll-preparedness there. Nagaland and Meghalaya will go to polls on the 27th of this month.
Elections in Tripura will be held on Sunday. All the three states have a 60-member Assembly. The counting of votes will be taken up on the 3rd of next month.
