The District Election Officer (DEO), Kamjong, has notified the publication of the draft list of polling stations for the 43-Phungyar (ST) Assembly Constituency in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, 2026, with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.
According to a notification issued by District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Kamjong, L.N. Kashung, IAS, the draft list has been prepared in accordance with the Election Commission of India’s guidelines on the rationalisation of polling stations and the provisions contained in the Manual on Polling Stations (October 2020 Edition).
The draft list has been displayed on the notice boards of the offices of the District Election Officer, Kamjong, and the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of 43-Phungyar (ST) Assembly Constituency for public inspection.
The notification has also been brought to the attention of the general public and recognised National and State political parties functioning in Kamjong district.
Any person or political party wishing to submit claims or objections regarding the draft list may do so within seven days from the date of publication of the notice.
The DEO has urged all stakeholders to examine the draft list and submit their representations, if any, within the stipulated period.
