Imphal, Oct 6: Doctors at Bishnupur District Hospital are blamed again for the death of a lady patient at the hospital yesterday evening.
Relatives and friend of the deceased lady vandalised the hospital and demanded immediate punishment of the doctor whom they said is responsible for the death of the patient.
Report said that a lady identified as Naorem Ongbi Premila Devi (Aged about 48 years), wife of Naorem Rameshware of Toubul Mayai Leikai in Bishnupur district was admitted yesterday evening at around 6.20 pm. The husband of the deceased lady said that doctors assigned on duty did not attend her wife even though they reported it to be serious. The lady died at around 7 pm.
