DLO meeting held outside district headquarters

After about a decade-long gap, the District Level Officers’ meeting was held outside the district headquarters today at Sangaikot Subdivisional headquarters.
The DLO meeting chaired by Churachandpur Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Yadav had deliberated pressing issues such as ensuring achievement of target under Jal Jeevan Mission, solar street light installations at strategic locations, Covid-19 appropriate behaviour, e-office implementation, and Forest Rights Act amongst others.
After due deliberation regarding reopening of schools, it was decided to adhere to State guidelines in this connection. Guidelines for gatherings at events and compulsory use of face mask by shopkeepers were also discussed.
DLOs and SDOs concerned were also instructed to conduct inspection of works undertaken under several line departments like Minor Irrigation, Water Resource Dept, PMJVK, PMGSY, Minority Affairs, etc.
Besides discussing e-office implementation at DC’s office and other offices of the district, network connectivity issues were also sorted out.
The meeting saw huge attendance as most of the DLOs were present.
Later in the day, the Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav and DLOs concerned inspected NREGS works at the adjoining villages where he also informed the concerned citizens (poor and needy widows) to apply for financial assistance under Social Welfare department.
It may be mentioned that Sangaikot sub-divisional headquarters is located about 20 Kms East of Ccpur District headquarters along Churachandpur-Sugnu road.
