District-Level awareness programme on Community Mobilization and Education held

A District Level-cum-Awareness Programme on Community Mobilization and Media Activities for School Heads and School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) members was held today at the Auditorium Hall of Lois, Kakching. The event was jointly organised by the Zonal Education Office, District Programme Office (DPO) Kakching, and Samagra Shiksha (Elementary), Manipur.
Addressing the gathering, Mayanglambam Rakhesh, ZEO Kakching, highlighted the need for collective understanding and cooperation in the face of evolving education policies. He noted that since education policies undergo periodic changes, teachers, SMDC members, and parents must work together to ensure the holistic development of students.

Resource persons S. Thajamanbi, N. Bilashini, and others delivered presentations on Vidyanjali and the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) – UDISE Pashat App with special reference to Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

As part of the event, a District-Level Enrollment Drive Rally 2025–26 focusing on Education, Vidyanjali, and Health Benefits was also organised, starting from Kakching Higher Secondary School and finishing at Practicing Junior School.
