District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit held

District Administration of Jiribam and Noney today organized the District Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit (People’s Day) at Jiribam District at DC Complex, Chingdong Leikai, Jiribam and at the Multipurpose Hall ,Longmai III,Noney district.
At Jiribam, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Jameson Hangshing, MCS, SDPO Jiribam, T. Inaobi Singh, MPS, Ngasepam Kiran Kumar Singh, DGM, MSPDCL, . M. Devananda Singh, SDC, Borobekra and other district level officers of various department attended the event.
At the occasion, DC Noney, Joseph Pauline Kamson also distributed materials to the staff of Education Department.
Covid vaccination stalls and one-stop centre were also opened keeping in view the medical needs of the people.
SDOs, DLOs, ZEO, DFO, CMO, DSO and other related officials took part in the function at Noney district.
Altogether 19 departments which includes Health, Social Welfare, Fishery, Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Agriculture, Sericulture, MSPDCL, PWD, CAF & PD and Veterinary and Animal Husbandry opened their stalls for delivering public services and public grievances during the day.
Some of the services provided during the event includes distribution of 24 nos. of Sprinkler Pump Sets under PMKSY Scheme and 7 nos. of Ultra Violet Films to the selected beneficiaries. The department of Agriculture verified farmers for PM-KISAN beneficiaries. On the other hand, Health Department issued CMHT card to 1 beneficiary and 6 nos. of fresh forms of the same were also issued.
As many as 121 applications of various issues pertaining to issuance of OBC certificates, Income Certificates, Domicile Certificates and land records etc., were also received for further necessary action.
Authorities of both the district administration heard the grievances of the people one by one and instructed the concerned department officials to redress their grievance.
Unlike other months, public turnout was comparatively high in today’s Meeyamgi Numit.
