Dissident Congress MLAs voice heard; CM, Dy. CM rush to New Delhi

Dissident MLAs of the ruling Congress party had finally succeeded to draw the attention of the Congress high command over their dissatisfaction to the Okram Ibobi Ministry. Source said that the matter which was submitted to the Congress High Command has been seriously considered and following that both the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Gaikgangam, who is also the President of MPCC had rush to New Delhi to discuss the situation.
Source said that President of the AICC Sonia Gandhi sent an urgent message to both the CM and Dy. CM to make their appearance today.
According to source from the CMO, before leaving for New Delhi, the Chief Minister held an urgent meeting with all the Ministers of the state government.
Official confirmation could not be obtained at the moment but source said that Okram Ibobi Singh might take up some measures to satisfy the rebel Congress MLAs by either reshuffling the Ministry or using his own means as the party need to begin campaign for the next assembly election.
This time Ibobi’s better half Okram landhoni Devi, who is also the MLA of Khangabok Assembly constituency accompanied the Chief Minister.
