Discipline and determination is the key to success: L Jayantakumar

Chandel, Sept.16: Health Minister L. Jayantakumar today appealed sportspersons to maintain discipline and determination saying that the two is the key to success not only for players but also for all the people who are in any field.
Speaking on the occasion of Reception ceremony of all Lifters and Official of National Championship held during the year 2017 in connection with Teachers’ Day celebration organised by the Panganba Body Building and Power Lifting Training Center at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai Community Hall, L Jayantakumar said that however successful a person is if fails to maintain discipline, the beginning of his crumbling begin.
Sports Minister Letpao haokip was also supposed to attend the reception ceremony however as he has been on some important official visit at some villages of the state he relayed his good wishes through the Education Minister and apologies the organisers over his failure to attend the function. Letpao also extended all possible help for the Lifters through Education Minister L. Jayantakumar.
The function was also attended by E. Dolendro, E. Ibochouba, Ng. Thoiba, Secretary AMPA, N. Sivadas Leagal Advisor N. Shivadas and N. Kumar Meitei President AMPA as dignitaries on the dais.
L. Jayantakumar further said that he all extend all possible help to the Panganba Body Building and Power Lifting Training Center in getting a place for training.  
He also said that even though our children are gifted with talents, lack of proper international standard equipments sometimes discourage them.
“This government is trying all it can to groom sportspersons at International level”, Jayantakumar said.
