Imphal May 2: The Department of Information and Public Relations, Manipur has requested all the heads of departments under the government of Manipur to sent regular regular information on their activities and welfare services for the people to the Directorate office through email [email protected] and [email protected] or in persons to the director. In a press statement the DIPR stated that the initiative is being taken up to maintain good public relationship in between the government and the people and also to enable the department to informs the public through various mass media tools what the government is doing and its plan to do for the welfare of the public. The Directorate office can be contacted at 0385-2450156.
DIPR also requested all the the Heads of Department to appoint a responsible Officer of the department as the Nodal Officer for the purpose so as to enable DIPR media staff to have in touch with the officer.
