Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) wishes for a prosperous New Year.
While speaking to media today in a get together program at its DESAM office, Keishampat, Moirangthem Angamba, President, DESAM greeted a warm wish for the media person of the state. Appreciating the works of media, Angamba further said that to strengthen the power of democracy media of the state had played a huge role in the past and he expects to continue the same in the coming year. He added that the public should understand the role of media so that it avoids any misunderstanding between them. Angamba further added that the fast growing trend of the state such as the act east policy, globalisation, etc create terror in the mind of the people for the extinction of indigenous people of the state in near future. To save the indigenous people the state from extinction DESAM will initiate various programs in the coming year, said Angamba.
