DESAM volunteers launched indefinite relay fasting

The newly formed Re-consolidation of Campaign for Implementation of Inner Line Permit System has launched a series of protest demonstrations in different parts of the city today.
Demanding to implement Inner Line Permit System, Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has launched indefinite relay fasting from today.
A total number of 8 (eight) volunteers of students body namely Ngariyambam Dinesh Meitei of Kongba Nongthomba Leikai, 5th Sem, Modern College; Laiphrakpam Ronil Singh of Sagolband Bijoy Govinda; Maibam Dinachandra of Kongpal Chingangbam Leikai, 1st Sem, Birmangol College; Laishram Dhaneshwori of Waiton Mamang Leikai, 5th Sem, Birmangol College; Loitongbam Premkumar of Ghari Awang Leikai, 1st Sem, Imphal College; Takhellamba Sanajaoba; Salam Nivash of Heirangoithong Yaingang Leikai, 12 Class, CC Higher Secondary School; Khoirom Jina, Secretary Office, DESAM H/Q and Elangbam Rojitkumar alias Musuk, Deputy Organisation Secretary of DESAM H/Q are taking part on the first day of the relay fasting at the Keishampat office of DESAM.
Speaking to reporters president of DESAM Angamba said that the student organisation will undergo series of protest to implement the Inner Line Permit System in the state.
