In order to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment of Nambul river, today DESAM under the leadership M. Angamba, President took up initiative of planting tree sapling on the western bank of Nambul river, starting from Keishampat Bridge to Keishamthong Bridge
Speaking to Imphal Time, Angamba maintaianed that the student body would prevent spoiling of the river bank and throwing garbage on the side of river bank area and the area will comes under the “Prevention Area of DESAM”. He also appeal the public to maintain cleanliness of the river bank and survival of the sapling being planted.
