The District Election Officer (DEO), Imphal West, has announced the schedule for the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls with January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date.
The schedule was notified by District Election Officer Mayanglambam Rajkumar Singh under Notification No. 125/DEO(IW)/RPS-2025, in accordance with directives issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, on October 16, and the Election Commission of India on October 15.
The revision will cover all 13 Assembly constituencies in Imphal West district, with electors and recognised national and state political parties asked to take note of the programme.
The rationalisation of polling stations is scheduled to be completed by November 2, while the integrated draft electoral rolls will be published on November 12.
Electors can submit claims and objections from November 12 to December 11. The disposal of claims and objections is scheduled to be completed by December 28, with the final electoral rolls set for publication on January 4, 2027.
The DEO has urged electors to verify their particulars in the draft rolls and submit claims or objections within the stipulated period to ensure the accuracy of the electoral rolls.
