Mistrust against the Assam Rifles became loud and clear as more and more people started protesting against the paramilitary forces here in Imphal.
A large number of people today formed a human chain in Imphal East district shouting slogans demanding the withdrawal of Assam Rifles today morning.
People from all wakes of life formed human chains at the roadside from Porompat to Konung Mamang traffic point. The protesters shouted slogans with placards of “Go back Assam Rifles, Long live Manipur”.
