Delhi based Kakching students urge CM for improvement of Kakching district infrastructures

Imphal, March 10: United Kakching Students, Delhi (UNIKAS) submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, Government of Manipur on March 10 for expediting process of formal inauguration and improvement of infrastructures of District Headquarter at Kakching for Kakching District, Manipur.
The memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister, Government of Manipur through the office of Resident Commissioner, Government of Manipur, New Delhi via R.R.No.875 dated 10th March 2018 with a request to the Chief Minister and his office for the swift action on inauguration of the headquarter building /offices and relevant institutions at Kakching for Kakching District, Manipur . The student community and working people in Delhi, who held from Kakching and Surrounding villages, expressed their deep concern on delaying of the inauguration of District Headquarter formally at Kakching and on slow process of establishment of essential offices and infrastructures under the Kakching District even after more than one year of functioning of new Kakching District at Kakching.
UNIKAS further seeks the attention of the Honourable chief Minister to the long due demand and the aspirations of the people of Kakching and the surrounding villages for locating the headquarter of Kakching District at Kakching town for more than two decades. The UNIKAS appeals to the honourable Chief Minister for expeditious execution of the relevant process for formal inauguration of headquarter of Kakching District at Kakching and development of required infrastructures of the office under the Kakching District.
