Delegates to take part in BCIM economic corridor development forum

Delegates from Manipur will take part in the 2014 Bangladesh-China-India –Myanmar (BCIM) Economic (Chengdu) Development Forum in China.The three days long forum which will be organised by Chengdu Association or Foreign Economic Trade Cooperation will commence on Oct 30 in Chengdu, Capital of Sichuan Province, P.R. China. Around 100 delegates from the ministry of commerce, state and municipal governments as well as business confederations and enterprises of the four countries (Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar) will take part in the forum and discuss about the framework and prospect of BCIM economic corridor development, as a stage or exhibiting the attractions and opportunities to possible investors, as a channel for bridging cooperation and exchanges on the national and intercity levels, etc.As a member of delegates from Manipur, Minister of Commerce and Industries, Government of Manipur, Govindas Konthoujam will also take part in the upcoming forum.
