Deepika Mayanglambam calls for tribute to Manipur’s Martyrs

Deepika Mayanglambam, from Manipur, delivered a poignant appeal at the International Youth Development Conclave, urging delegates to observe a two-minute silence in honor of the martyrs who laid down their lives for peace in Manipur.
The conclave, organized by DivyaYuva Manch, unfolded in Ellanabad, Haryana, from March 15 to 17, 2024. Attracting participants from 10 countries and diverse regions of India, the event emerged as a global platform for fostering discussions on youth development.
In her address, Deepika Mayanglambam underscored the pressing need to address sustainability and mental health concerns among the populace of Manipur. She emphasized the imperative of extending support to victims of violence and conflict in the state. Her impassioned speech resonated with attendees, illuminating the ongoing challenges and the resilience exhibited by Manipur’s inhabitants.
Concluding her remarks, Deepika Mayanglambam stressed the significance of vocalizing support for peace restoration efforts in Manipur. She implored all present to commemorate the sacrifices made by the martyrs and to unite in forging a future marked by peace and prosperity.
