The identity of the person who was found unconscious at the Sulabh Complex in Alu Gali Machin, along BT Road under the jurisdiction of City Police Station, has been established.
According to police, the man was found in an unconscious state at around 2:40 pm on July 28 and was taken to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Achung Shinglai (35), son of Wungchan Shinglai, a resident of Kasom Somrei Village.
His identity was confirmed by his sister, Vanmila Shinglai, at the RIMS mortuary. Following the completion of the post-mortem examination on Monday, the body was handed over to the family.
