A dead body was found on Wednesday evening at around 8.45 pm in between Thingkang Phai and Pangzawl village. The deceased has been identified as Ralkapthuom who is also known as KT Hmar of Mualvaiphei village under Churachandpur Police station.
According to the villagers, the body was dumped in a vehicle and a knife was found near it. His throat bore a knife wound.
According to a reliable source the deceased is suspected to be a member of HDC (D) a hill based UG group and presently under SOO.
