Imphal, March 26: A dead body was found today morning at a pond Konthoujam Leirembi Leikai under Patsoi Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Mutum Jiban Singh ( age about 37 years), son of late M. Rajen of Khonghampat Mayai Leikai presently staying at Konthoujam Maning Leikai.
Report said that the deceased has been missing since March 22. The pond where he was found dead is a fish farm belongs to one Basanta. Cause of the death is not known however, first information report said that he might have drowned in the pond. No scars are found on the body. Police team deposited the death body at RIMS Morgue.
