Dead body of a person was found floating early morning today at Nambul River at Uripok Polem Leikai side near Bijoy Govinda Bridges in Imphal West.
The body has been identified as Loitongbam Tikendra (25), S/o late Ibotombi of Naoremthong Khulem Leikai Imphal west. According to his family members, he was missing since 18May Friday. He is presently working at MASUM finance Uripok.
Cause of the death could not be known at the moment but source said a piece of paper with some words jotting on it was found . The dead body has been deposited at RIMS morgue for conducting autopsy.
