Imphal, Jan 8: Delhi Association of Manipuri Muslim students lunched the DAMMS calendar of 2018 as a tribute to Janab (L.) Alimuddin, the first chief minister and visionary leader of Manipur state, for his remarkable contribution towards the development of Manipur,
The launch event was presided by the President of DAMMS, Ch. Kheiruddin shah, and SM Farooque Abdullah And Syed Wakimul Ali as chief guest and Guest of honor respectively in the presence of seniors, students and well wishers of DAMMS from across the Delhi at DU park, North campus Delhi University.
Featuring the visionary work of the late Alimuddin, the President, in his speech draw the attention from all the stakeholders of Manipuri society to acknowledge the developmental initiative taken up by this departed leader.He also request to all Manipuris to have a copy of the said calendar to appraise the leader as well as a warm support for DAMMS. He further thanks all the sponsors for their contribution in the publication of this calendar. With special note of thanks and appreciation to all the attendees for making this program successful, he signed off his speech.
