CSOs met Sitaram Yetchuri and Sangma; submits memorandum

Imphal, Dec 20: Leaders of the Civil Society organization presently camping at New Delhi continue its campaign by meeting various leaders of different political parties at New Delhi. The CSO team which comprise of Elangbam Johnson, President, United Committee Manipur (UCM), Ph. Deven, President, All Manipur United Club Organisation (AMUCO), Jeetendra Ningomba Vice President of the CCSK, YK Dhiren General Secy UCM and Sunil Karam of NIPCO today met National General Secretary of the CPI (M) Sitaram Yetchuri and President of the National People’s Party K Sangma. The CSO team submitted memorandum regarding the apprehension among the people of the state due to the ongoing peace talk and the Framework Agreement signed between the NSCN-IM and the Government of India.
The team had earlier met AICC President Rahul Gandhi, LoK Jan Shakti Party Chief Ram Villas Paswan and the AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal who is also the chief Minister if Delhi.
The team is expecting appointment of the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country after December 20.
Both the leader of the National party met today also supported the demand of the CSOs of Manipur and assured all possible support to them.
