Candidates who do not have firm commitment and determination of their own should not be elected. Such type of Candidates spoil the aspirations of the voters who have their own determination. This was stated by Oinam Romen Singh, the Intending Candidate of Singjamei Assembly Constituency in the upcoming State General Assembly Election 2022 in the National People’s Party (NPP) Ticket during the inauguration ceremony of 13/16, 13/21, 13/22 and 13/ 23 Booth Committee offices at Singjamei Thongam Leikai, Imphal West District, Manipur this afternoon.
Reiterating that the electors of Singjamei Assembly Constituency are all intellectuals, Romen Singh said that their nature of attracting electors using doubled standard words will be useless. Their activities to woo the voters of Singjamei will remain null and void. He said that the opening of such Booth Offices for him is so limited. He is not a Candidate overjoyed with opening various offices in different parts of the Constituency. He is opening least number of such Offices to contact only the electors of the vicinity with his officials such a way that they can come forward to support him and to seek positive suggestions.
Romen further said that the Candidate who wants to open numerous Offices in a random manner shows that he does not know the aspirations of the people of the Constituency. How can the Candidate possesses such kind of nature be elected as the representative of the Constituency, he asked. Many of his Offices opened recently in different parts of the Constituency are seen closed, it is very shameful, Romen added.
Romen said that he and the people of the Constituency easily know that there are many Booth Offices of other Candidates which there are place of toxicants and drugs meant for attracting Young voters in an unusual nature. It is very unfortunate, Romen Singh asserted. He said that it is nothing but misguiding the youths as well as the local populace. How he can be considered as a true leader, he asked. If he wants to become a true leader, such kind of insane activities should be stopped, Romen Singh warned.
