Covid-19 positive woman commits suicide in Mumbai; first casualty in Meghalaya

More sad news of COVID-19 case hit the country with a doctor who is the first COVID-19 patient in Meghalaya of NE India died in Shillong early today morning. Our correspondent from Mumbai added that a 29 year old woman who had tested positive for coronavirus also committed suicide today morning at B Y L Nair Hospital, Mumbai, by hanging herself inside the bathroom of the hospital.
While the first patient from Meghalaya Dr John L Sailo Ryntathiang died due to COVID-19, within twenty four hours after being diagnosed with the contagious disease at around 3 am today morning at Bethany Hospital, the 29 years old woman at B Y L Nair Hospital, Mumbai was found dead at 3.45 am today morning. She was suffering from asthma. The hospital staff broke open the bathroom door when she did not respond for a long time. They found her hanging from the ceiling with her dupatta.
She was admitted to Nair hospital on Monday, following which she tested positive on Tuesday,” an officer from Agripada police station said.
On Monday a 24-year-old nurse from Manipur was tested positive for COVID-19 in Delhi. According to reports, she is a staff of Max Lab, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket (West Block), New Delhi.
First casualty of COVID 19 was reported from Assam. Meghalaya case is the second death due to COVID -19 in north East India.
Total casualty of COVID -19 case in India today reached 398. As per report from the COVID19 India trackers , total positive case of COVID-19 reached 11,637 out of this 9,873 are active . The number of positive case recovered and discharged so far is 1,366 people.
As for the North East states there are 32 confirmed case with 31 active case after the death of the first positive case from Silchar area. Manipur still have a positive patient after the recovery of the first positive case. Mizoram have one confirmed case and Nagaland too have one confirmed case which both are active. Tripura have two positive case and both are active while Arunachal Pradesh do have a positive COVID-19 patient.
As per input from other source, a total of 107 new positive COVID-19 case have been reported, with 2 casualty in Gujarat. Of the total, 41 new positive COVID-19 case has been reported from Rajasthan alone , 17 new case in Karnataka, 41 new case in Rajasthan and 45 new case in Gujarat.
