CORCOM’s total shutdown called has affected all business sectors of the state today. Even as the shutdown called failed to give impact to the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all commercial sectors and educational sectors of the state remain closed during the shut-down called boycotting the prime Minister’s visit. Roads were seen with vehicles carrying BJP workers from districts and assembly constituencies of the state but normal commercial vehicles stay off the roads. Major markets in the state remain empty with no vendors functioning as usual.
