CorCom – the conglomerate of 6 different major rebel groups operating in the region today said that NSCN/GPRN has taken up the right step by abrogating the cease fire with the Government of India, which is a common enemy. In a press communiqué by the Convenor, Publicity Committee (CorCom), the body stated that the SS Khaplang, Chairman and president of NSCN/GPRN has rightly stated that no one can distort the freedom of the Naga people and freedom cannot be compromised at any cost and no external force can deprive the freedom struggle of the people. The statement said that the president has taken the right step by abolishing the Cease-Fire Supervisory Board (CFSB) and also by invading the Indian Occupational Force which is a common enemy of the rebel groups. CorCom said the body will support to the movement of the NSCN/GPRN. The CorCom statement further said that, the body stands for a united revolutionary movement to jointly fight the common enemy. It also appealed those outfit presently engaging in cease fire or Suspension of Operation with the government to be hypnotize under the spell of the Indian regime and asked to come out to struggle jointly against the common enemy. CorCom is a conglomerate of six major rebel groups operating in the state which includes KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (PRO), KCP, UNLF and RPF.
