CorCom boycotts Indian Independence Day; calls total shutdown on Aug 15

Joint body of armed rebel groups operating in the region CorCom has boycotted the Indian Independence day and impose total shut down on August 15 from 1 am till 6.30 pm of the day. A statement of the Publicity Committee of the rebel group however said that essential services including medical, electricity, water supply, fire service, press and religious related activities shall be exempted from the purview of the total shut down.
The armed rebel group along with other rebel groups waging war against the government of India has been boycotting the Indian Independence Day as well as other National events from celebrating in the reason.
Justifying their cause the CorCom statement said that Manipur (Kangleipak) was forcibly annexed to the Indian Union. It said that before India became a nation Manipur already had a constitution and had a government elected by the people under the Constitutional Monarchy government. However, pseudo intellects and historian sometimes wrongly interpreted the history of the erstwhile nation. The so called pseudo intellectuals had been inciting hate feeling among the various ethinic community and creating chaos till today by making them forgot they are sons and daughter of the same mother.
The statement of the CorCom also compare on how the Indian authority are imitating the British Raj for suppressing the people of the region. It said that after Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, the British government passed Indian Police Act 1861 to suppressed any movement of the people. This Police act formulated by the British is being still in used by the so called free India. The statement also mention about how the Indian authority are misusing the Sedition Law which was passed by the british parliament. The British passed the Sedition Law in 1835 and used it since 1879 to act against criminal offence interpreted from their perspective
The lengthy statement said that they will never accept the colonization of Manipur (kangleipak) and will fight for restoration of the freedom of the erstwhile nation.
