Imphal, January 10: Agriculture, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Minister Shri V. Hangkhanlian distributed cooking gas set and LPG Safety Clinic at RAM School, Pangei,Imphal East, today. The Gas distribution was under Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana Programme.
The Function was attended by, Former State President, BJP Manipur Pradesh, Shri Sh.Shantikumar Sharma, Manager,FI & IT Manipur Rural Bank Shri Laishram Roshan , President, BJP, Mahila Morcha, Khundrakpam Mandal, Smt Arambam Ngangbi Devi, State Missions Manager (Skill) Manipur Rural livelihoods Mission(MSRLM) Shri Kh.Bobby Singh, Executive Member & Vice President President, BJP, Kishan Morcha ,BJP, Manipur Pradesh, Shri Dr, Kala Singh, State Missions Manager (Skill) Manipur Rural Livelihoods Mission(MSRLM) Shri Kh.Bobby Singh, President and Guests of Honour respectively.
Speaking at the function Minister V.Hangkhanlian said that Ujjwala Programme is a programme under the Prime Minister`s Programmes which was launched to help the weakers and widows who were financially backward in our society, availing gas connection free of cost through it and would help their firewood smoke kitchen problems.The Minister has distributed Cooking gas set to the beneficiaries of Khundrakpam Assembly constituency ,Imphal East.The Gas sets are provided by the Sowombung Indane Gas.
