Construction Of Water Storage Tank By Assam Rifles

As part of the continued endeavor of the Assam Rifles towards improving standard of living and providing basic facilities, Sajik Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) constructed a water storage tank of 5000 liters capacity at Phaisi village, Chandel District, Manipur on 31st Mar 2019 under OP SADBHAVANA Project 2018-19. The water storage tank will alleviate the problems faced by the villagers due to the prevalent socio-economic conditions and remoteness of the location where even the basic amenities of drinking water do not exist, Construction of the storage tank was well received by the local populace and expressed their heart felt gratitude for the efforts taken by Assam Rifles to improve their lives.
