The Chandel District Kuki Civil Society Organisations (CSO) has extended support the BJP Candidate for the II- Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the forth coming 17th Lok Sabha Election.
In a joint statement, the Kuki CSO expressed to support H. Shokhopao (Benjamin) Mate, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Candidate for the II – Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the forth coming 17th Lok Sabha Election.
The decision to extend support for the BJP Candidate was unanimously taken by the Kuki CSO in a joint meeting held at the Office of the Kuki Chiefs’ Association (KCA), Gunpi Block located at M. Munpi Village in Chandel District yesterday.
The joint meeting was attended by the leaders and representatives of Kuki Chiefs’ Association (KCA) Chandel District, KCA Khengjoi Block, KCA Gunpi Block, KCA Kana Block, Kuki Women for Human Rights (KWHR) Chandel District, United Zou Organisation (UZO) Chandel District, Zou Mothers’ Association (ZOMA) Chandel District, Thadou Student’s Association (TSA) Gunpi Block and Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi (ZSP) Chandel District, added the CSO.
In the statement, the Kuki CSO also appealed all the Village Chiefs and general public of the District to extend full support to the BJP Candidate in the coming parliamentary election.
