Constitution Day observed across Manipur

The District Administration Kakching today joined the nation in observing the Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas at the DC Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat, Kakching District.
Additional Deputy Commissioner P. Shantikumar Singh led the preamble reading, which was participated by AC to DCs, SDO Kakching, SDCs, representatives of various departments and staffs of DC Office.
The day was also observed at Government offices, including District Mission Management Unit, Kakching of Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission; EE Kakching Division of PWD; Langmeidong CD Block; District Social Welfare Office, Kakching; District Co-Operative Office, Kakching; Fishery Office, Kakching, Kakching Municipal Council Office and District Agriculture Office, Kakching.
The Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas was also observed at various schools under the supervision of the Zonal Education Office (ZEO), Kakching in the district.
Also, District Administration Chandel celebrated the Constitution Day and was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, district headquarter, Chandel.
Deputy Commissioner L. Nandakumar Singh led the ceremonial reading of the Preamble, and was joined by the Superintendent of Police, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, SDOs, District Level Officers, and representatives from various government departments. As part of the celebration, synchronized collective reading of the Preamble was also organised across all sub-divisional headquarters and educational institutions in the district.
While addressing the gathering, ADC Chandel Md. Firoj Khan recounting the historical events leading to the adoption of the constitution, reiterated the historical importance of the Preamble and its role in guiding the nation’s democratic ethos.
As part of the observance, District Level Officers from concerned departments shared key updates on various developmental programs and welfare initiatives, including the district’s pledge and ongoing actions against child marriage, awareness and eradication efforts related to AIDS. etc.
The District Administration of Senapati celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) today joining the nationwide celebration in commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India under the theme ‘Hamara Samvidhan- Hamara Swabhiman’ at DC Office, Conference Hall, Senapati.
The celebration was attended by the District Level Officers in reading the Constitution of India Preamble and viewing the video of marking India’s reaffirmation of its commitment to constitutional values and democratic traditions.
Also, District Administration, Kangpokpi, celebrated the same at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi.
A collective reading of the Preamble was also conducted in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, along with all SDOs and DLOs.
Also, Samvidhan Diwas was observed today by District Administration Thoubal at the Conference Hall, DC Office Thoubal.
Deputy Commissioner Hannah Kahmei led the preamble reading which was participated by staffs of DC office, DRDA, Election and NIC.
Preamble reading was also organized in Educational institutions and various other offices in the District.
The District Administration of Pherzawl today observed the Constitution Day through a series of coordinated programmes across Pherzawl District.
The commemorative event, held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall. Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching, IAS led the preamble reading which was participated by Superintendent of Police, ADC and other District Level Officials and representatives of various departments.
District Administration Bishnupur and all the line departments of the district today joined the nationwide observance of Constitution Day.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bishnupur, Toijam Opendro, led the officers and staff of the district administration in reading out the Preamble to the Constitution at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur. AC to DC, S. Gunamani, and other officials were also present and participated in the reading.
Various line departments across Bishnupur district also conducted Preamble-reading sessions from their respective offices.
