The 24 hour general strike called by the All Manipur Constable Male,2013 demanding immediate declaration of the result for selection of Male Constable conducted on June 16,2013 has affected normal life at various part of the state, even as it fails to give any impact in greater Imphal area. According to report reaching here general strike supporters today vandalized some of vehicles at Paobitek area. At Bishnupur district General strike supporters were seen stopping the vehicles. Inter district passenger service vehicle s were put to partial halt fearing unwanted consequences. Mention may be made that Constable Recruitment test appeared candidate had submitted memorandum to Chief Minister and Home Minister urging to declare the result on December 27. Later, on April 21 this year the body announced the press to call general strike today if the government fails to declare the result by April 25.
