Congress lodge formal complaint against BJP

Imphal, Feb 16: The congress party in Manipur has lodged a formal complaint against the BJP for allegedly bribing Irom Sharmila. The rights activist Sharmila had earlier alleged that she was offered 36 crore rupees by a BJP leader to fight the elections. Ram Madhav of BJP has however rubbished the claim made by Irom Sharmila saying the BJP’s total campaign in the state does not amount to that much. Sharmila broke her fast last year and launched her own PRJA party which is fighting the assembly elections in Manipur.
