Imphal,Nov.7: A team of Imphal East Police Police Comando led by OC/CDO L Vaiphei under the supervision of SP Imphal East today conducted search operation at New Checkon Mandop Leikai from 6.30 am to 8 pm.
The police team comprising of Women police varified a total 355 persons including 105 female.
7 man who fail to produce proper verification documents were picked up by the police team for further investigation.
The combing operation is a part of the security measures taken up ahead of the Manipur Sangai Festival which is scheduled to begin from November 1.
