A team of Imphal East police commando led by the additional SP Rajen today combed Hatta Golapati area from 4.30 am to 6.00 am. The operation was conducted as a continuing process for taking up security measures ahead of the 67th Independence Day celebration. During the search operation 31 persons who do not have valid document to proof their identities were picked up for further verification at Porompat Police Station.
