COHER calls for peace and solidarity

Imphal, July 17: Committee on Human Rights (COHR), Manipur has called for peace and solidarity in Jammu and Kashmir.
A release signed by Chairman of COHR, Phlindro Konsam said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been experiencing human rights violation and enormous scale of pain resulting from the uses of excessive security forces in the ongoing agitation and demonstration in the aftermath of the killing of Burhan Wani, Commander of Hizb-ul Mujahideen on 8, July 2016.
COHER also appeal all the concerned authorities to initiate all steps necessary to resolve the ongoing human rights crisis.
