The Coordinating Committee of Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has resolved to launch a united struggle along with the masses to defeat the Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist Aggressors in their ploy to disintegrate Manipur in a public convention held today at the Khwairamband Ima Keithel, Imphal which also paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their precious lives for safeguarding the territorial integrity of Manipur.
Terming the ongoing war as the acid test for the survival of the Meitei community, the public convention adopted a marathon of resolutions including completely wiping out the Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorists from the soil of Manipur, resolving misunderstandings amongst the various groups, resisting creation of any homeland from Manipur tooth and nail, ecological and environmental development, scientific implementation of the NRC with base year 1951 or 1961, resettlement of the internally displaced persons in their respective original homes, bringing a permanent peace and security after ascertaining the actual cause of the present crisis and educating the masses on the line of law of warfare as was enshrined in the Chainarol Puya.
The convention also urged the government for calling a special session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly for bringing a lasting solution of the present turmoil in the state. The resolutions also stressed for maintaining the economy of the state during this crucial time of crisis.
