Imphal Dec 29: Manipur Chief Minister O. Ibobi wrote a letter to Union Minister of Human Resource and Development, Smriti Zubin Irani over the appointment of Chairman, Interim Director and Interim Registrar of IIIT-Manipur who are urgently needed to facilitate commencing of a few courses from the next academic session.
Sources said that O. Ibobi wrote the letter to the Union Minister on 24th December, 2014. In his letter Manipur Chief Minister reminded the Union Minister the recent meeting of the two wherein he conveyed his Government’s desire to start the 1st Academic Session of the IIIT-Manipur from the year 2014-2015. The letter also urges to convey approval of the Ministry to the appointments of Chairman, Interim Director and Interim Registrar of the IIIT-Manipur.
