A day after the Teachers’ Association, Train Nurses Associations, and Association of non-teaching staffs had resolved to submit mass resignation as a part of their agitation for implementation of the 7th Pay ROP and submitted a memorandum to its director, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh who is also the president of the Governing society, today invited the representatives of the striking employees.
MLA Ranjan, Agriculture Minister Lukhoi, Education Minister Rajen, and Chief Secretary were also reportedly present during the talk with the JNIMS representatives.
After thorough deliberations, the Chief Minister indicates his desires to fulfill the demand of the JNIMS employees demand but due to certain matters that have to be consulted in-depth, the Chief Minister reportedly asked MLA Ranjan who is also advisor health and the Chief Secretary to look into the feasibility.
The talk lasted for hours and lasted till 4 pm today
The decision to submit mass resignation by all staff including the non-teaching staff was taken in the joint meeting held yesterday at the Conference Hall of JNIMS under the chairmanship of Associate professor H. Apabi Singh, Advisor of the Teachers’ Association JNIMS.
However, following the assurance and concern of the Chief Minister, The JNIMS employee’s bodies have postponed the decision for tendering mass resignation.
