CM takes stock of the flood affected victims

Imphal, July 8: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh today visited relief camps of flood affected areas at Kyamgei and other parts of Imphal East and West. The relief camp were set up by concern MLAs of the respective areas soon after many were left homeless due to the flash flood. Chief Minister N Biren Singh distributed relief materials during the visit and also new houses for the homeless at the earliest possible time. Later The Chief Minister also inspected the condition of the flood affected victims at Lilong Awang Leikai in Lilong Assembly constituency. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Works Minister Th Bishwajit and other government officials. The Chief Minister along with the Works Minister Bishwajit also iterated with the victims of the flood and assures all sort of assistance for immediate relieved. N. Biren Singh also personally took stock of the breached river bank at Lilong and its nearby area. He assures all possible assistance from government side at the most possible time
