CM, Speaker extend Cheiraoba wish

Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Th Lokeshwor greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba.
‘Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiroba marks the parting of the old year and onset of the New Year. On this auspicious day, young people seek the blessings of elders for a happy long life. As we celebrate this festival with religious fervor and gaiety, let us all resolve to strive for the wellbeing of all the people in the state. Let us also renew our thoughts and work with unity and dedication to make Manipur a more peaceful and prosperous state.’

With the advent of a new year, may peace, prosperity and harmony be prevailed in Manipur, the speaker said in his Cheiraoba greeting.
